 SHARON'S STATEMENT

I enjoy the challenge  and strive  to "Capture feelings on film," said Sharon. This former long-time resident of Gulf Shores, Alabama now resides in Back Bay, Biloxi, Mississippi.

Sharon strives to record the "essential heartbeats" of a subject knowing that when shared, the photograph completes the cycle of art.  She Compares a good photograph to good poetry, and  describes photographs as "forever records,"  detailed recordings that capture the essence of a variety of subjects.
"A good picture tells a story and provokes feelings," Sharon says.

Nature subjects, wildlife and outdoor adventures (including photo and hunting safaris) provide Sharon the opportunity to collect nature photographs. In outdoor photography, as in hunting (taking it from the shooter's aspect), timing is everything.  A snapshot at just the right moment, will freeze that special expression on a face forever. A photograph records those minute details of a memorable experience; a good photograph is a "keeper of memories-the heartbeat of the essential."

Sharon's collection of Nature's treasures , invites the viewer in - to enter the scene, to share and experience that special moment captured on film - now and later for years to come.
